All Sooke School District schools are open today.  Please leave yourself enough time to arrive at school safely.

Dear Parents/Guardians,

With the possibility of snow over the coming days, please take a look at our weather procedures. Schools remain open if at all possible, including during snowfalls. It is always up to you to decide whether or not to send your child to school during inclement weather.

Unfortunately, we do not have enough volunteers and have had to cancel our bottle drive on January 12th. We will update our website and send out information should we decide to have one in the future.

There will be a parent information session for Late French Immersion at John Stubbs school held this Thursday, January 9th at 6 pm.  Parents who are interested in having their child(ren) attend this program beginning in Grade 6 are encouraged to attend.

Happy New Year to students and families at Millstream!  Wishing you the very best as we begin a new decade together.

A friendly reminder to ensure that your child(ren) comes to school dressed to be outdoors at recess and lunch time.  It looks like it will be a rainy week, and we plan to embrace the rain with proper gear … rain jackets, boots, umbrellas, rain pants, etc.  Thanks for your help in ensuring our students can enjoy the outdoors in all types of weather!

The Millstream PAC is organizing a bottle drive for Sunday, January 12th from 9 am to 1 pm.  Please save your bottles and cans over the holidays, and plan to drop them off to support our students.  Thanks so much!

January 13TH – 17TH, 2020

January 27TH – 31ST, 2020

In the past all Kindergarten registration has taken place at the same time in SD 62 but this created challenges for parents and caregivers whose children did not get a spot in one of the specialized programs due to limited space and high demand.

Moving the registration dates for Nature Kindergarten and French Immersion Kindergarten to the earlier dates will allow those families ample time to participate in General Kindergarten Registration.
