Millstream Leadership presents: Millstream Days of Giving
Dates: December 4th – December 15th
This year Millstream Leadership will be doing a food drive to support the Goldstream Food Bank as well as our community. We will be collecting non-perishable items for families in need in the Langford area. Students can bring in the items to their classroom anytime during our Days of Giving. A list of ideas will be available on the PAC Facebook page as well as our school website. Items in need this year are kids canned pastas, cereal, corn niblets, coffee and tea, feminine hygiene products, baby wipes, diapers of all sizes, Shortbread cookies and all other non-perishables. Please remember to check expiry dates.
We will also be collection any gift card donations to stores that offer food and clothing (for example Walmart, Superstore, Millstream Market etc.) to help families in our Millstream community.
Thank you in advance for your support!
Your Millstream Leadership Students

Just a gentle reminder that today, Thursday, November 23, is early dismissal. Students will be dismissed at 11:38am.
Tomorrow, students can choose to dress in costume or dress in black and orange day for our spirit day of the month. If your child/ren is choosing to dress in a costume, please see the guidelines below:
The District does not have an official policy regarding Halloween costumes, instead we ask that everyone be respectful and mindful of others by following the guidelines below.
- Students must be identifiable and visible to ensure safety.
- Masks are not permitted. Face makeup is permitted provided the student is still identifiable.
- Scary clowns are not permitted.
- Costumes that depict violence, alcohol or drugs are not appropriate.
- Fake weapons are not permitted.
- Costumes that are provocative, sexual in nature or employ questionable props are not permitted.
- Costumes should not hinder a student’s ability to travel through the school and outdoor space safely.
Please remember that costumes, even with good intent, may make others feel scared, upset, insulted or humiliated. Below are two guiding questions that may help determine appropriateness of costumes for school.
- Does the costume depict or perpetuate a stereotype or stigma associated with a particular race, culture, religion or gender?
- Would the costume be considered offensive to a particular race, culture, religion or gender?
Let’s create a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
