We are happy to announce that Millstream Elementary has been selected to participate in the Ready Step Roll: Active School Travel Planning initiative during the 2021/22 school year. This is an excellent opportunity for us to work alongside the CRD and our municipality to identify and address safety challenges and enhance the walk-ability, bike-ability and wheel-ability (skateboard, scooter, wheelchair) to and from our school. Even if you always drop-off/pick-up your students by car or take the school bus – this survey and program has something for you.

Please complete the Baseline Travel Survey (linked) online, available from Tuesday, May 25th  — June 12th 2021. This survey is a critical first step in the program that will inform the local government about the typical traffic patterns around the school and how our students get to and from school. If we can get at least a 50% response rate to the survey – we will win a new bike or scooter rack! It only takes about 10 minutes to complete – one per household.
